The Sarah Silly Hour Part 2

Just before bed is called "The Sarah Silly Hour" in our house. She's the silliest, smiley-ist, most fun little girl when she gets the before bed giggles. I couldn't resist that smile!

I'm going to take off my socks!

Heehee...I did it!

I can put them back on, too! Do you want to see?
I got it!
...and they're off again!

A Love for Mints...

The other day my little Cutie found my camera bag and the little package of mints that I carry in it. Now...EVERY time she sees my camera or bag she HAS to have a mint! We had a little fun as she was teasing me and showing me she had a mint!
See, Mama! I got a mint!!!

It's right there in my mouth!
HA! You can't have it!

Sunday "walking the dog"

Is this not the cutest dress? Lao Lao bought this one for my Sarah, the girl on the front is walking her doggie...which was a hit with my little girl! I just had to go nuts with the camera. I can't believe how tall she's getting...*sigh* my baby's growing up...

A little Birthday Party...

Baba's friend from work has a little girl (Erika) that turned 4 and I got to go to her birthday party today at the park. It was fun. I got to play on the swings and slides and have lots of fun!
Baba is swinging me, WEEE!!

Do you like my party hat? It has Cinderella on it!
I got a little bag of treats and it was SO much fun! When I blew in this, it got straight and then it got small again, I loved it!

Almost more fun that a little girl can stand!

Amazing Chinese Acrobat Show

Well, another week flew by without blogging...(sorry, Mom!)
But, for my birthday (which was last Wed.) my Dad bought us tickets to see the Chinese Acrobat show that came to town. You want to talk about amazing?? It was AWESOME!! I only took a few photos of it but they were incredible. Sarah had a blast and couldn't take her eyes off them! Some of the photos are a little blurry, sorry about that, but I had to set the camera on the right setting in order for it to take the photos from that far away which let more light in...but caused a small amount of blur...plus most of the time they were moving.
Let me just suggest for those of you that are planning your trips to China: go to see the Chinese acrobat show when you're there, you won't be disappointed!
This one was taken before I figured out the camera's settings. Of course, it was Sarah's favorite part! She loves the Lion Dance!!

The ladies were holding all these plates and they were spinning them and yes, the one gal's head is on the head of the lady underneath her and she's balancing there. Just Incredible!

These guys were juggling the hats, they were so entertaining!

They were part of the Chinese Comedy of the evening...
...and YES the guy is INSIDE the tube and his hands AND feet are sticking out the SAME end!First of all, the white things are all chairs and they're stacked on top of one another. Second of all, the bottom one is balancing on bottles on the table! Then, she's doing handstands on top of those chairs!

And, the famous one...they're all on the bicycle, circling around the stage!
And afterwards, they were selling DVDs and signing them, we asked if Sarah could have her photo with one of them. She was really nice and we got to practice our large Chinese vocabulary! (...of 3 words!)

Mama's Birthday Barbeque

We had a barbeque at the park today a Pre-Birthday party for Mama! It was a lot of fun.
There is a horse trail next to the park and when Baba saw this horse coming, he asked the nice man if I could pet the horse. His name was Stormy Dancer and he was really nice. We all got to pet him.

Me and my Mama!

Me and Tati...being silly!

Mama is getting hugs from Lili & Tati...Mama has known them since they were tiny babies, and she loves them lots!

I was jumping up and down and Mama tried to take a photo of my great jumping skills, but got this one instead with both feet on the ground!

Lovin' on my Poppa

I was lovin' on my Poppa after Mama's birthday party was almost over. He's really funny and I love him lots!

I was giving him lots of kisses...
...and hugs, too!

Sunday Dress

I had to take a photo of my girl at church. I love a cute girl in a pink dress!
Okay, Mama...now can we go to the zoo?

A Little Zoo Adventure

After church today, we decided to go to the zoo with our friends. We just stayed for a few hours, since we have our membership and can go anytime we enjoy going, even if only for a few hours. Sarah CRACKED me up as we were parking the car. She kept asking me if we were going to the zoo as I drove ALL over the parking lot trying to find a spot. I told her time and time again, "yes, Sarah, as soon as Mama parks the car we are going to the zoo." Finally, I found a spot and started to park in it. She asks me as we are pulling into the spot, "you find a spot? you parking the car, Mama?" I answered, "yes, I found a spot, we're parking the car." To my surprise, she shouts, "AWESOME!!" I think I hurt myself laughing so hard since I've never heard that from her before. What a nut, my girl is...and hearing every word I say, whether I realize it or not.
We rented this double stroller, so we'd have room for our many water bottles and it had a nice sun shade for Sarah. Lili (my best friend's 13 yr old) decided that she wanted a ride, too.

Of course her sister, Tatiana, wanted a ride, too!

This is the coolest alligator I've ever seen...YES, he's white! He has Leucism and according to the zoo, that's not an albino because he has pigment in his eyes, they're blue. He only lacks pigment in his skin. He travels around to different zoos and this summer he's here. All he did was just sit there, but he looked really cool!

Tatiana wanted to pet the baby alligator! They had some 1 year old babies and this was one of them.

Our girls enjoying the zoo...although mine looks scared to death!

Waiting for the Bird Show to begin. We have the best bird show...it's called birds of flight and the birds fly all over the ampitheater, even right over your heads. It is really cool.

Hmm, how did that happen? She lost her piggy tails, and I found some!
